Just as the Texas summer heat of 2022 finally started to taper off, hues of orange and yellow began to reveal itself in the Texas foliage at this early October wedding located at The Grand Ivory.

Photographing this wedding as a second shooter alongside my friend, Jessa Maria of Jessa Maria Photography, was pure delight. Seeing my friend photographers work with a passion and being a hype man/woman for their couples is the best! It reignites my heart as to why I started photographing weddings in the first place.

One of the benefits of this classic romantic wedding venue is that it offers a scenic country backdrop, perfect for the bride and groom who's taste is a mix of modern and country.

Surrounded by their closest friends and family, you could feel the support and love for the bride & groom. After a heartfelt ceremony, the couple had a chance to unwind with a portrait session during cocktail hour. The reception was beautifully decorated with a southern, classic charm: hints of blues and tapered candles, the tables draped with eucalyptus, as well as gleams of gold infused along the tableware, so many beautifully thought out details.

This venue is definitely on my list of dream venues in the North Dallas area and if you're planning your wedding here, reach out! I'd love to photograph here again! Just reach out via my contact page.
